I've got news!!^-^
Okay, I heard this news when I was reading all these comments from the Bobby Bones Show video & I just have to know more!!
"Hey all--I just got some info that "Crush" is
very close to
getting #1 on the Hot 100 (this isn't speculation, like we were talking
about in the other threads; this is pretty much fact). Rihanna's
"Disturbia" has the slight edge right now because of airplay.
Here's
what we can do--if you have friends or family that you think would like
the song, or if you haven't gifted copies that you intended to gift,
or, heck, if you haven't bought it yet, the time to do so is NOW.
Nobody is asking you to buy 50 copies of the song yourself or do anything else unreasonable, but if you've been holding back about showing the song to family or friends, don't hold back anymore.
He needs these sales before Saturday night. That's right--the deadline is
tomorrow night.
David
can gain a lot of credibility by debuting at #1. He would be the very
first Idol to get to the top of the Hot 100 without using the
coronation song to do it.
Wherever you post online, spread the
word, and encourage people to listen to the song and, if they like it,
buy it now from iTunes. Post this online where you can.

Billboard
is augmenting its ranking of digital music sales for its Hot 100 chart
formula by including weekly streamed and on-demand music data from
Yahoo and AOL Music.
Under the new Billboard Hot 100 formula,
radio play will average about 55 percent of the chart’s total points,
digital for about 40 percent, and streaming media for 5 percent.
unfortunately, the CRUSH link in yahoo is not working. AOL is working, so you can play CRUSH from there.
so instead of listening to CRUSH on your IPOD/youtube, go play it on AOL instead, helping David get to #1 spot in the process.
